Another key benefit of the MSV pumps is the noise level which is half of any comparable technologies. This is mostly due to the design and construction materials of the canopy as well as the utilization of a variable speed drive.
The decibel levels range is 65 decibels for the 7.5-horsepower pump up to 81 decibels for the 50-horsepower pump. The hospital facility staff see this the lower noise level as a major advantage for a vacuum pump.
