Emerging digital health company ICmed, LLC, today launched its Enterprise Engagement Solution. The customizable solution enhances patient & family engagement, driving improved medical outcomes and lower healthcare costs. The product is licensed by clients such as Aging-In-Place Facilities, wellness-focused businesses, care management organizations, health systems and employee benefits leaders. Enterprises can deploy the solution for use with a general managed population or an at-risk population, such as seniors, postoperative patients, those with health conditions, like diabetes or heart disease, or new mothers. The product can be white-labeled by an enterprise.
Through an easy-to-use dashboard, an enterprise can survey, message and educate its population – while the connected mobile App empowers and engages patients/employees and their families through alerts, journals, reminders, surveys, instant messaging and tailored content. Users can store all of their health information in the App and map their family health history.
Research by the American Heart Association indicates that incorporating family support and providing easy-to-read educational material to patients and their caregivers enhance medication adherence.

The Transamerica Institute’s November 2017 national survey of more than 3,000 non-professional family caregivers indicated that 88 percent of them would like more information to topics related to caregiving.
Another element of the App is health condition education content called TEA (Targeted Educational Assistance). TEA is auto-delivered to the App from sources such as the National Library of Medicine. The App also includes features to increase medication adherence (such as automated reminders and family alerts). Last, the dashboard contains population health analytics tools – tailored to the needs of the enterprise.
